Industrial rock music has always been darker, more negative, yet this has been evolving. There is this cool synth-rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren recently that has a unique perspective on industrial music. His CD is a mix of electro-rock and the concept of overcoming addiction.
There are some song previews at his website at www.returnfrombroken.com. It appears like they are temporary in lou of final recordings. They sound really good to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to find more industrial rock like this written directly for addiction help in a more upbeat way from a person that has been there and is making a difference for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to have this type of rock coming from the industrial genre which is typically more archaic in nature.
In addition, he has free mp3′s you can get from his music page and more in his back extras page which is all free. I also saw discounts, wallpaper, and other downloads. It will be nice to hear the album once it is available.
